Please, refer to the problem number, fix your document, and send it again as an answer to the message you have received. Do not write a fresh email: answer to the mail you have received from the system. Pay special attention to stick to the IEEE style as defined on www.rivf.org: http://www.rivf.org/downloads.php See also the IEEE guide: http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/rivf08 The following document illustrates what your PDF should look like. http://www.ieee.org/portal/cms_docs/pubs/confpubcenter/pdfs/samplems.pdf * 1 Affiliation must be under the authors name. - Do not include them as footnotes. - Do not underline the emails - Use the western way to write the names. If our last name is composite, use dashes to keep it into one word. Below are given a few examples, showing in square bracket how it will appear in the author index. - FirstName LastName [LastName (FirstName)] - FirstName MiddleName LastName [MiddleName (FirstName)] - FirstName M. LastName [LastName (FirstName M.)] - FirstName Last-Name [Last-Name (FirstName)] * 2 Abstract and keyword list must not be in italic. The words "Abstracts" and "Keywords" (aka "index terms") are in italic, but the bodies of the abstract and the list of keywords must not. * 3 Figures should look nice - Make sure not to use too small font size in figures, they should be more or less the same size as the text body. Try to print as a booklet (i.e., two virtual pages per physical page) to check that the figures are still readable. Some figures should definitely spread on two columns, not just one. - Avoid bitmap figures Use vectorized graphics, avoid bitmaps. Otherwise use some very high resolution export. - Use a sharp contrast. Beautiful figures with rich colors are very likely to look very bad on the printed proceedings. Avoid useless uses of color. Try to print your paper on a (not too good) black and white printer to check. * 4 No header, no footer Nothing must appear as a header, nor as a header. In particular, no page number. * 5 Watch the number of pages - Stick to the constraints: - Short paper: 6 pages. - Doctoral paper: 4 pages. - Posters: 4 pages. * 6 Nice layout Avoid empty columns appearing randomly: balance the columns by hand. If the last page is very empty, try not to use it at all. If you still have some room, maybe the figures should be larger. * 7 Prefer PDF submissions Word documents are not portable and often are incorrectly rendered on other versions of Word. Therefore, submit PDF files. * 8 Follow the instructions Submit to rivf@lrde.epita.fr and to no other address. Use a title such as (don't include "Subject: "): Subject: short 100 Subject: poster 117 Subject: doctoral 314 Attach the PDF file to it simply named by the number of the paper, for instance: 100.pdf 117.pdf 314.pdf Don't generate useless trafic: No "thank you" etc. Don't start new messages, always reply to the one you received from the system.
