You have seen the basic compilation options on offer, so let's concentrate on
some practical examples. This section will utilise the M4 sources, to
give you something tangible to play with. Not all of the options will be used
from the preceeding sections - however, I'll utilise as many as necessary to
give you a good grounding in gcc's options.
The following examples are split up into the main phases of compilation, although many of the other commands will also be used within these sections.
