Abstract
Software engineering defines some methods in order to guarantee software quality. In the image processing fieldseveral image types exist. Also, this is difficult to build a library dedicated to this field which provides reusableextensible or compatible tools. We will see different approaches used by generic image processing libraries which deal with this problem.
